As we close on an incredibly successful 2023, I’m looking forward to an even greater 2024. ACN is thrilled to expand on the success we had in the past year, thanks to the valuable work of our diverse members.
One of the most inspiring things to see year after year is the energy, growth and excitement at Applied Net. The Applied Net 2023 conference was bigger and better than ever. We were proud to welcome over 4,300 attendees, ushering them into the digital growth era and equipping them with the innovative solutions their agencies need to stand out today.
Our membership saw tremendous growth in 2023 as well. We added 400 new members, giving them access to invaluable education resources and a place to engage with the ACN community. ACN’s peer-to-peer support, forums and on-demand learning provides all members, new and continuing, with the knowledge and tools needed to solve challenges, meet objectives and achieve better business results. I encourage everyone to refamiliarize themselves with the benefits of being an ACN member and to share these with someone who could benefit by joining our vibrant community.
2023 was also a year of introspection for ACN. We wanted to know how we could better serve our members, so we conducted a survey asking what features would benefit them the most. We dove into their feedback and have set into motion programs and memberships that will keep our community thriving. As part of the next evolution of Applied Client Network, take a look at our new initiatives for 2024:
New Website Look
During the first quarter of 2024, we will launch a new look for our website. With these updates, the website will feature modern technology capabilities and a brand-new suite of solutions. Our users will enjoy increased functionality while using the site, which will be easier to navigate and more engaging and satisfying to use.
EZLynx Membership
We’re introducing an exclusive membership opportunity for EZLynx users. The EZLynx ACN membership will provide several new resources for our EZLynx community. Members will have exclusive access to webinars, ACN networking roundtables, a dedicated forum to chat through challenges and solutions, on-demand professional development training and more. Member Alliance Program
This year, our chapters program is evolving into the Member Alliance Program. This Program will be made up of eight persona-based alliances which will be comprised of members with similar job functions and working environments. Below are the eight alliances:
- Client Facing Service — Employee Benefits
- Client Facing Service — Personal & Commercial Lines
- Owner/Principal
- Operations, Managerial, & Finance
- Bank-Owned
- Large Agents
- EZLynx
- Canadian
These alliances will facilitate the sharing of information through persona-based education and connections. These groups will break down geographic barriers and create a more consistent experience for our members no matter where they’re located. Connections Content Hub
ACN’s content hub, the Connections blog, is rolling out exciting changes. Our content committee is expanding to include new members, including international members and EZLynx experts who will bring their unique expertise and insight to our publications. Additionally, the content hub will be spotlighting members and the waves they’re making in the industry. Readers will get an up close and personal look at the services, processes and collaborations happening in our community and will learn ways to bring that success to their own agencies.
