The recent ACN Summit in Dallas marked the return of in-person meetings, and attendees jumped right back into participating in new learning alongside old and new friends. The Summit offered countless networking opportunities, including a breakfast, lunch and receptions where attendees could grab a bite to eat and build connections.
Outside of networking meals, industry experts led in-depth sessions and roundtables over the course of two days with the goal of guiding ACN members through the rapidly changing insurance landscape. Sessions covered hot topics such as AI trends, cybersecurity and the latest EZLynx updates.
The AI focus of the event was especially valuable, providing attendees with advice on navigating the future of AI. “This has been a very informative Summit on AI,” David Huck of Prosper Insurance Center says. “Going into the next steps we need to learn about [in order to implement] AI into our agency has been very helpful.”
ACN has been ramping up initiatives to offer high-quality, high-reward conferences and networking opportunities, and this event was a culmination of these efforts. Melissa Zornes, Dallas Summit Chair, shares her excitement around the Summit’s success. “This Summit exemplified ACN’s commitment to fostering a collaborative environment where members can share knowledge, build relationships and drive innovation within the industry,” she says. “The Summits are a cornerstone of this year’s efforts to provide valuable opportunities for professional growth and development. By bringing together a diverse group of industry experts, thought leaders and practitioners, ACN provides attendees with a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and best practices.”
For those looking for a strong community and different perspectives from colleagues, the Summits are an excellent way to meet others, hear their stories and challenges, and inspire new ways of thinking. “Everybody should come because you make great friends,” Jenna Rudnick of FNIC Insurance says. “I’ve met so many people, got so many business cards and hopefully can take [these connections] into the future.”
ACN Summits will take place each quarter of 2025. The next Summit will be held in Toronto, Canada, May 7-8, and will feature cross-border knowledge to help U.S. professionals better understand the Canadian market.
