The first in-person Applied Net conference in two years kicked off in Nashville, TN from October 2-5. While the virtual conferences the past few years have been wildly successful, the energy and excitement of an in-person Applied Net can’t be beat. It was clear attendees were thrilled to have the opportunity to reunite with old friends—over 4,400 people were in attendance, making it the most-attended Applied Net in history.
Innovative Sessions and Programs
All four days were packed with speakers, networking, leading products and services in the industry, and hands-on workshops and trainings. The bustling Expo Hall was filled with 100+ booths showcasing the newest innovations and service trends. Here, attendees connected with peers and exhibitors to learn about insurers’ latest product offerings and exciting tech solutions.
This year also featured one of Applied Net’s best education programs yet with over 240 customer presentations, industry roundtables, and expert panels. During the sessions, attendees were treated to world-class speakers and industry trailblazers who took a deep dive into popular trends and taught new approaches to business. These experts opened up discussions and gave their audiences opportunities to ask questions and share their own insights and experiences. Attendees walked away with new tricks of the trade and invaluable knowledge to apply to their own customers and systems.
Hear From Attendees
Applied Net veteran Collin Passman had an exceptional experience at this year’s conference. “I have attended 10 in-person conferences and two virtual conferences, and it felt so good to see some of my best Applied friends,” he said. “The conference was electrifying. The sessions were fresh and gave us all some great material to take back to our agencies. The presenters, both experienced and new, gave us reasons to be enthusiastic about the Agency Management System and ancillary products that we are all using.”
As a bonus, the lively Nashville setting was the perfect place to be after the sessions ended for the day. “The evening events allowed us to network with fellow users and let loose and show everyone our non-insurance agents side,” Passman said.
Longtime Applied Net attendee Miriam Kasseris also had an incredible time and praised the unique networking opportunities. “Applied Net is the best way I know of to get the most out of an ACN membership,” she said. “The sessions are always top notch, but it’s the networking that makes it worthwhile for me. Sitting at the breakfast table with a group of folks can lead to discussions about topics you didn’t realize needed to be on your radar. It is truly users helping users, as the motto goes.”
Kasseris especially enjoyed the pivotal knowledge from the speakers, as well as the iconic Nashville music scene. “Another plus are the keynote speakers; this year’s were especially energizing, and I left the conference full of ideas to help better my organization. And no Applied/ACN event would be complete without the amazing entertainment opportunities. The amount of live music flowing from every door, and every floor, is amazing – you will never hear a bad song!”
The positive feedback from the conference has been nearly nonstop. Applied Client Network thanks everyone who contributed to this record-breaking event. We can’t wait to see you next year.
