In their Applied Net 2023 session, Natalie Thompson and other panelists will give attendees insight on how their agencies successfully transitioned to EPIC Browser. They will also share tips and expert advice on how to make the transition as smooth as possible. Here’s a sneak peek of what participants can look forward to.
What is your experience in this field and what’s your favorite part?
Natalie Thompson (NT): Our agency started the transition to EPIC Browser after Applied Net 2022, so we’re not at one year quite yet. But we have been on EPIC since July 2018 and have been an Applied Systems customer long before that, utilizing Applied TAM. I actually have a lot of favorite things about the browser: the ability to zoom in on a window using browser built-in zooming whenever operating solely on my laptop; the ability to easily navigate between open tabs because the client name or EPIC area shows in the tab bar rather than hovering over just the Applied logo to see what is open; and my favorite of all is running reports and not having a million saved documents because the browser goes through the downloads folder and allows me to scroll through the report, print exact pages and more, all with browser capabilities and not the limited functionality within EPIC Reporting!
What can attendees look forward to during this panel session?
NT: Attendees can learn from our agency and other panelists about how we were able to successfully transition our teams to the browser. We will also share tips and tricks to make the transition a little easier for everyone.
What is a highlight or two you hope attendees will take away from your session?
NT: I hope that attendees will learn how to successfully transition their teams to EPIC Browser and how it will bring efficiency to their teams (and ultimately to their clients).
