Applied Net is the largest insurance tech conference in the world. This year’s event, taking place October 23-26, 2023, at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas, will gather 4,000+ insurance professionals together to share innovative approaches to business and celebrate what’s next for the industry. In addition to networking and seeing the latest products in action, one of the most exciting features of Applied Net is the high-quality presentations, which offer wisdom, advice, tips, and lessons to the audience. Applied Net will feature over 250 sessions, so attendees can be sure to find education suited for their business needs, no matter their area of expertise.
One session we’re especially excited about is “Expert Panel: Salesforce Administration and Best Practices for Applied Epic for Salesforce,” moderated by Diandra Carpenter with panelists Bo Brown, Applied Systems; Aaron Voss, TrueNorth Companies; and Eboni Brown, A.S., Applied Systems Representative. Carpenter shared with us what attendees can expect from this presentation.
What is your background on your session’s subject? What excites you most about being in this field?
Core Assurance Partners, Inc. (Core) was the first agency to go live with the Applied Epic for Salesforce integration. Core worked closely with Applied to test and adjust the platform to meet the end user's needs in preparation for the launch. I am excited that we continue to challenge the status quo and partner with Applied to bring solutions to agents that will help them recognize and analyze data to enhance business efficiency.
What can attendees look forward to during your session?
Attendees can expect to hear how different agencies took the AESF platform and adapted it to their agency's procedures and workflows with automation tools, reporting, and settings.
Is there a particular topic in your session you think is especially interesting?
Applied Net panels allow attendees to ask questions, see what has worked for other agencies, and potentially avoid difficulty as they learn and adapt the AESF platform to their agency. I am excited to learn from others and possibly help others in their AESF adventure.
What is a highlight or two you hope attendees will take away from your session?
I hope to foster collaboration with agents in this industry. There is so much knowledge of agents of different sizes, experiences, and geographical locations. While we compete for business, I hope our panel will illustrate the value of coming together to propel the insurance industry to better practices, more efficiency, and overall a better experience for our teammates and clients.
