Happy Applied TAM Week to the Applied Client Network community!
In November, Applied Systems announced the general global release of Applied TAM 2018, a testament to its continued investment in modernizing the Applied TAM architecture and a precursor to this week’s education offerings. But, what do these enhancements mean for you, the independent insurance agency or brokerage?
“Enhancements to digital technology enable agents and brokers to manage their businesses easier and faster, prompting operational efficiency and better customer service,” said Michael Howe, senior vice president of product management at Applied Systems.
Mixed in with some comments from users, we’re here to break the Applied TAM 2018 enhancements.
Enhanced reporting engine
With this release, users will gain additional flexibility, stability and security in creating and maintaining reports through expanded and simplified criteria options, while adding a more modern look to the user interface and report printouts.
Automated Night Utilities
Eliminate the need to manually run Night Utilities with fully automated Night Utilities. These can be scheduled to run at the most optimum time for your agency, eliminating the need for someone to manually start the process while saving some paperwork along the way.
Anne-Marie Rice, IT manager / commercial account manager at Scheetz, Hogan, Freeman & Phillips, noted, “I am so excited about this new feature. It will definitely simplify the process and I love that it will disconnect any users that fail to log out or exit properly.”
Expanded operating system support
Improve performance with support for Windows Server 2016 to be used as a Terminal Server.
Expanded insured name fields
Lengthy names not fitting? No more! Use up to 100 characters to fill out an insured’s name throughout the platform.
Kathy Hembree, office support manager at CLH Insurance, shared, “Looking forward to more space for customer names! We have some very long church names.”
CSIO eSlips generation
Canadian brokerages can now easily submit eSlips to CSIO in the application and electronically distribute to insureds in place of Liability Slips. A win-win!
