Applied Client Network, the only independent community of Applied Systems software users, presented six individuals and local chapters with awards at Applied Net, Sept. 25-28 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.
Applied Client Network's Circle of Excellence program recognizes effective chapter management in five key areas: leadership skills, member education, membership recruitment and retention, marketing and communications and overall chapter management and administration.
The association named Applied Client Network British Columbia as the 2017 Chapter of the Year for their vast improvements in education offerings and emphasis in chapter meeting programming. The chapter continues to grow due to their focus on retaining members and recruiting new brokerages who have recently acquired an Applied management system.
In addition, the Tri State Applied Epic User Group chapter will be recognized as a Gold Circle of Excellence recipient and Applied Client Network Virginia will be presented with the Silver Circle of Excellence.
"Applied Client Network chapters allow us to support Applied users at the local level and continue to be a top benefit of membership," said Brian Langerman, Applied Client Network CEO. "All of our chapters play a critical role in users helping users, and this year I'm thrilled to recognize Applied Client Network British Columbia, the Virginia chapter and Tri State Applied Epic User Group for their notable contributions and improvements."
The Applied Client Network Awards recognize and highlight dedicated members and chapter volunteers who distinguish themselves among their peers as driving education and adoption of technology to support digital transformation.
Collin Passman, Signature B&B Companies, is the first ever recipient of the Bill McNulty Chapter Volunteer of the Year award. Passman is the president of the Tri State Applied Epic Users Group and launched the Tri State Applied Epic Users Group six years ago because he saw a need for a local community of users facing the same challenges. Passman's passion for users helping users extends to several volunteer committees as well as presenting education sessions to fellow users at Applied Net.
The first Committee Volunteer of the Year award will be presented to Karla Myers, Franconia Insurance & Financial Services. As the chair of the Applied Client Network LEAD committee, Myers has demonstrated professionalism and commitment at committee meetings and maintains the focus of an engaged group. She exudes confidence in her abilities as a volunteer leader and continuously promotes the importance of Applied Client Network and the need to get involved with the association.
"Each year, Applied Net serves as a great forum to recognize those individuals and chapters who continue to add tremendous value of our community," said Brian Langerman, Applied Client Network CEO. "Applied Client Network is composed of loyal members, volunteers, and hard-working committees that are devoted to education, advocacy, and networking, and I am pleased to recognize Collin and Karla for their dedication to delivering on this vision."
