Last month, Applied Client Network (ACN) hosted its annual Leadership Academy, a two-day summit for chapter leaders to come together, learn and network. For the first time in two years, ACN’s chapter officers from more than 40 chapters flocked to the JW Marriott in Savannah, Georgia to attend the event. Leadership Academy provides an opportunity for leaders within ACN to come together, forge new bonds, and enhance their personal and professional skills, and 2022's reunion did not disappoint. The event kicked off with a keynote from veteran Navy SEAL Brent Gleeson, who discussed leveraging trust, teamwork and accountability to achieve goals. The workshops that followed allowed ACN chapter leaders to put those goals to work.
Over the course of the next day and a half, attendees heard from ACN CEO Brian Langerman and 2022 ACN Board of Directors Chair Ron Brunell, as well as received an update from Trevor Bunker, Applied Chief Customer Officer. ACN's 2021 Chapter of the Year, Maine, was also in attendance and was able to provide some answers in real time to fellow chapter officer questions. All in all, the event was a huge success and a great opportunity to connect — and reconnect — after spending so much time in the virtual environment. On behalf of ACN, we want to give a special thanks to all of our chapter leaders for coming and spending a few days with ACN. Check out some of the participant feedback from the event below!
What Leaders Are Saying
Donna Whittenburg, Trimble-Batjer Insurance Associates – Greater Texas
ACN Leadership Academy allowed me to make so many new connections. Having other users and chapter officers available to network with makes us all better!
Becky Lehpamer, RiskSOURCE® Clark-Theders – Southwest Ohio
This was my first Leadership Academy, so I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed my time. The speakers were great and really energized me, professionally and personally. It was also nice hearing others' experiences/advice, and getting ideas on how to take our chapters to the next level!
Marie Sullivan, Amelia Insurance Agency – Florida
The idea of being an officer in our chapter seemed exceptionally overwhelming. I felt that I did not know enough to be able to do a good job for the chapter. I have found that this community is extremely supportive and willing to share the information needed to help you be successful. So many great ideas were shared at Leadership Academy!
If you or anyone you know is interested in getting involved in ACN chapters, please reach out to your local chapter officer or contact chapters@appliedclientnetwork.org.
